Senior Electrical Engineer 100% Onsite – Manchester, NH We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our cutting-edge medical device development program. This role is integral to the conception, design, and production of embedded electrical circuits within a multidisciplinary project team. The ideal candidate will have experience across a range of electrical engineering design principles, from low-level analog to high-speed digital circuits. This position requires a high level of independence and creative problem-solving, as you will be developing innovative solutions to diverse engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities as a Senior Electrical Engineer: Design and develop circuit boards incorporating both analog and digital circuitry through schematic creation, PCB layout management, and DFx activities Conduct testing, debugging, and failure analysis of circuitry, and create test fixtures to support circuit board development and production Produce detailed documentation, including block diagrams, electrical requirements, design descriptions, test protocols, and failure analysis procedures Develop new prototypes with originality and ingenuity Break down system requirements to define electrical specifications and architectures Utilize expertise in electronic design techniques and system integration to address complex challenges Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, controls, systems, software, and test engineers for efficient development cycles Adhere to DEKA processes, design controls, and documentation standards Coordinate with external design partners and suppliers Manage multiple projects effectively, adapting to varying scope and complexity Provide specialized knowledge and contribute cross-functionally within the organization Qualifications & Skills for Success in This Role: BS in Electrical Engineering required Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing complex electro-mechanical devices Proven experience in electrical circuit board schematic design and PCB layout (preferably using Altium) Track record of taking electrical designs from concept to production Strong experience working within multidisciplinary teams to iteratively design, integrate, and test systems Proficient in drafting specifications and detailed design documentation Hands-on skills in circuit debugging, testing, and analog/digital simulation, along with familiarity with electrical test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, waveform generators, etc.) Experience in designing, characterizing, and analyzing novel sensors Solid understanding of signal integrity, timing, power management, and design for ESD and EMC compliance Experience in RF design and testing is a plus Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict timelines Familiarity with analytical software (MATLAB, Python, Labview, etc.) for data analysis and automation Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR, etc.) is highly desirable Understanding of medical device standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485) is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills
