About the Role Client is a leading global energy company with a strategy to be a net-zero emissions company by 2050, targeting low-emission generation capacity to reach 6GW by 2025 and 20GW by 2030. This role for a Procurement Associate will support multiple competitive bid processes, including negotiating and drafting contracts for all services related to the development, design and construction of wind, solar, and battery storage projects and assisting in managing relationships with key suppliers, contractors, manufacturers and internal areas of the company. Key Responsibilities Procurement Associate will participate in the definition and execution of sourcing strategies and developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for acquisition of EPCs/ BOPs. Procurement Associate will understand both global and local wind and solar EPC market and technologies, evolution and pricing trends. Procurement Associate will identify new players in the market for the different scopes of works to be contracted. Procurement Associate will establish and maintain close relationships with EPC contractors and vendors and engage with them to understand latest technical details on new products/ tasks and updates to existing products. Procurement Associate will proactively, review and level EPC/ BOP proposals, identifying potential risks and participating in negotiation of the contracts that result in the best value possible. Key Requirements Procurement Associate must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer without sponsorship. Procurement Associate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction or related discipline. Procurement Associate will have at least 3 years of related supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing or a related field. Procurement Associate will have strong experience in bidding, procuring, contracting and managing EPC/ BOP services for wind, solar and battery storage projects strongly preferred. Procurement Associate will have knowledge of the competitive bid process for engineering and construction services and negotiation techniques. Plus strong knowledge of wind and solar EPC market and technologies. Procurement Associate will have strong skills in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with e-enabled supply chain systems (e.g SAP/ Ariba).
