One of RHL's long-term clients, a mid-sized law firm with multiple offices throughout California, is seeking a Lateral Attorney Recruiter to sit in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Oakland. This role requires 3 years of experience recruiting attorneys. Please do not apply without that. Responsibilities of Role : o Sourcing lateral attorneys only (no junior attorneys) by developing strategies and researching candidates/firms to recruit from o Building relationships with recruiters/agencies to fill roles o Attending networking events to increase the firm’s visibility o Meeting with Practice Group Leaders to discuss hiring needs and strategies o Handling background and conflicts checks o Posting jobs on the firm website and LinkedIn Attorney Recruiters from law firms or agencies are welcome to apply. Profile that would be a fit : o Knowing how to get in front of very busy people (having worked at a law firm is ideal) o Knowledge of commercial litigation or employment law (not workers compensation or personal injury) o Proactive personality, friendly, a people-person Perks of company : · Autonomy: people are not breathing down your neck, with tons of layers, bureaucratic approvals · Tenure: many people have been with the company for over a decade · Will likely get a direct report once they get up and running (recruiting admin).
