JOB DESCRIPTION A Speech-Language Pathologist is an expert in the identification and treatment of pediatric communication and swallowing/feeding disorders. Additionally, the SLP is a collaborative member of our transdisciplinary team, an advocate for our mission, a model of professionalism, a source of support and partnership for families, a proactive and effective communicator, a fair and explicit coach, and an active part of our community. An SLP is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of communication and feeding needs in children with autism between the ages of 18 months and 6 years. Our transdisciplinary team provides clinical services to children with autism using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) within our inclusive preschool in classroom 1:1 setting. As a member of this team, the SLP is responsible for conducting evaluations, developing and updating treatment plan goals on a quarterly basis, providing direct therapy, and regularly coordinating care with members of the transdisciplinary team, including our classroom teachers, psychologist, OT, BCBAs, RBTs, and parents. This position is onsite in Phoenix, AZ Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm, but will be flexible based on your schedule. The compensation for this position starts at $90,000-110,000/yr a year plus full benefits. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Master's Degree in Speech and Communication Disorders • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist – ADHS • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) – ASHA • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Feeding experience to children with disabilities.
