RETAIL PLANNER Natick, MA This is a hybrid role, consisting of in-office work and WFH. The Retail Planner is highly motivated, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person has a high level of proficiency in Excel and will be responsible for driving the NICZOE retail business through sales and inventory management. This role has opportunity to make an enormous impact on NICZOE growth as well as gain visibility and exposure to top management. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: Retail/ Ecommerce OMNI Planning Partner with the Retail management team to forecast sales and inventory by month, brand/division, and store level. Analyze current sales trends and on-order to adjust forecast accordingly Plan and project receipt flow(s) and manage model stock levels necessary to support sales forecasts Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends to employ strategies Identify and explain opportunities within brands, size divisions, and assortments, down to the door level Provide direction to Retail store partners to ensure adequate flow and depth of assortment. Execute weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and performance analysis for Retail and Ecommerce. Analyze historical data and current trends to recap business weekly while identifying risks and opportunities. Create allocation strategies, incorporating the merchandise plan and flow strategy to meet store inventory needs. Create daily sales goals by location for store team each month. Merchandise Planning: Translate top-down financial goals and strategies into merchandise, and category plans. Partner with Merchants to develop merchandise sales and assortment plans based on brand, size division, fashion season, product category based on quarterly hindsight; provide buy guidelines that tie to assortment and receipt plans. Support key business review and hindsight meetings to identify risks and opportunities in the business and recommend strategies to ensure business objectives are achieved. Participate in line building process with Merchandising, sharing key business hindsights. Other key responsibilities Support the design and implementation of key planning processes and tools. Develop strong/collaborative relationships with cross functional teams, including merchandising, operations, warehouse team, and store team. Special projects as assigned Skills Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or another quantitative field preferred 5 years in a wholesale, retail or merchandise planning role Strong analytical skills Expert Excel and retail math skills Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Oracle platforms a plus Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, make decisions, recommendations, inferences based on analytics. Good presentation skills a must
