Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Columbus, OH | Marysville, OH

Summary:

The Admin Assistant provides a wide range of administrative and clerical support to the department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
    • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
    • Assist with event planning and logistics.
    • Prepare presentations and other materials as needed.
    • Maintain office equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist with the coordination and implementation of departmental projects.
    • Gather and analyze data as required.
    • Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a related role within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.  
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.  
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.
