Opportunity

The Market Analyst, Ecommerce will bring insight to the team in all areas of the business related to responsibilities of the role. They will be responsible for analyzing eCommerce performance metrics as well as competitive benchmarks and consumer behavior. This position is also responsible for conducting comprehensive and detailed marketing analysis and persuasively making recommendations based on results.

Other competencies associated with primary function and scope are as follows:

  • Assist in identifying operational opportunities by thinking “outside the box.”

  • Develop knowledge in business situations and Kohler Co. policies and procedures leading to career advancement.

  • Possess ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external personnel.

  • Learn, develop, and work through the intricacies of each DTC business.

  • Be comfortable doing “search and discovery” work where the answer is not clear.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for eCommerce activities, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer retention.

  • Assist with preparing reporting on site performance & actions or next steps taken from data.

  • Develop and maintain competitive analysis to benchmark against industry leaders and identify areas for improvement.

  • Merchandise website for consumers, to grow Key Performance Indicators, ultimately driving a better user experience & optimal sales performance. Identify customer needs and business opportunities within the channel. Focus on Continuous improvement of website.

  • Ensures key deliverables for use in managing our business and various ad-hoc analyses are delivered accurately and on time.

  • Provide support in all eCommerce areas including testing, training, and launching of various websites.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in eCommerce and digital marketing.

  • Dig deeply into the available data to bring insight to the team in all areas of the business related to responsibilities of the role. Persuasively makes recommendations based on results to team members and business partners.

  • Is an active team member that proactively brings opportunities to our process based on business trends, analysis and an understanding of our business goals and mission.

  • Displays initiative to remove obstacles and demonstrates high level communication skills.

  • Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation.

  • Independently resolve problems that require in-depth investigation and/or research.

  • Demonstrate appropriate level of competency in the following areas: Drive Continuous Improvement, Set High Standards of Performance, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Business Acumen, Management of Self, Management/Development of Others, Focus on the End Customer, and Build Trust.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.

  • 1 to 3 years of marketing experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results is required.

  • A keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker.

  • Substantial skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.

  • Travel - Less than 10%. Availability to Kohler Office or Milwaukee office TBD.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $79,500 - $100,450. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
