We are seeking an Event Sales Manager for our Mount Laurel location to lead our local Sales team. If you are a current Sales Leader that lights up the room when you enter, capable of showing others the influence and finesse of sales, and love the opportunity and challenge that comes with introducing our amusement center concept to groups, parties and family special events, we are looking to hear from you!
Summary
As an Event Sales Manager with us, your role will be to successfully manage the event department while driving your team to provide an exceptional experience from the booking stage through the day of the event.
The Event Sales Manager assists the Director of Sales with delivering revenue and profits while establishing and achieving financial goals.

Lahn Hospitality Group is a growing family-owned company comprised of a variety of hospitality businesses including amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses and more.
Since 1997, The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with two locations along the East Coast. The parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades.
In December 2021, Lahn Hospitality Group purchased The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ, a country club with a prestigious golf course and membership. The club underwent significant renovation including a new restaurant, atrium event facility, and much more. In the fall of 2023 LHAG opened its first dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, complete with 125 rooms and the first in the area to combine two different Wyndham brands.

As an Event Sales Manager with us, your role will be to successfully manage the event department while driving your team to provide an exceptional experience from the booking stage through the day of the event.
The Event Sales Manager assists the Director of Sales with delivering revenue and profits while establishing and achieving financial goals.
A successful candidate would possess the following:
- The Event Sales Manager is responsible for increasing group and event sales revenue by delivering an exceptional experience.
- Manage event booking requirements and adhering to any terms and conditions. Work with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure that company standards of quality and service are met.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with each event host. Including but not limited to: meeting and greeting the event organizer, following up with the event hosts to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize referrals.
- Develop and inspire a team of employees to exceed guests' expectations leading to a revenue generating department.
- Demonstrate proactive leadership by ensuring positive guests' experiences through hands-on approach.
- Exhibit our core values through creating innovative improvements and collaborating with others while being accountable for measurable, high-quality and timely results.
- Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships.
- External markets may encompass birthdays, special events and holiday parties.
- Work in tandem with the operations team to ensure flawless execution for all events.
- Working with the Director of Sales to express a definitive sales game plan to achieve departmental revenue goals which meet and exceed sales goals and budgets throughout the financial year.
- Responsible for reporting accurate forecasting and having a keen understanding of sales numbers and reports.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in sales preferably in hospitality/service/event/catering industry, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 2 years of management experience
- Strong sales skills required including experience with prospecting, cold calls, and negotiating skills.
- Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office and CRM.
- Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment.
- Able to cultivate a positive environment.
