Key Responsibilities
Writing and Content Development
- Craft executive-level communications, including ghostwriting on behalf of the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Transformation & Engineering.
- Develop leadership messages, internal communications, and external content, ensuring alignment with the SVP's voice and tone.
- Create engaging social media content and posts for the SVP's professional platforms.
- Design and develop PowerPoint presentations for the Board of Directors and other internal stakeholders.
- Simplify and visually translate complex concepts into high-impact presentations.
- Lead the creation of graphic design elements and visuals to support internal and external communication initiatives.
- Collaborate on video production and multimedia projects as needed.
- Prepare and coordinate logistics for key events, including agenda development, meeting flow management, and post-event follow-up.
- Provide support for employee town halls, leadership meetings, site visits, and other strategic engagements.
- Research and integrate best practices and benchmarking data to enhance communication strategies.
- Adjust and refine communication plans based on executive input, employee feedback, and industry trends.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in writing, graphic design, and communications planning.
- Exceptional writing skills, with proven experience in ghostwriting and adopting executive voice and tone.
- Expertise in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite for designing presentations and visual materials.
- Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms and craft executive-level posts.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of graphic design, photography, and videography tools.
- Strong creative storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging narratives and visuals.
- Exceptional organizational skills and professionalism, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Event planning and logistics expertise, including agenda preparation and post-event feedback processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with C-level executives in a corporate environment.
- Advanced storytelling capabilities, with the ability to influence high-level stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge communication trends and tools.
- Prior experience in corporate communications and employee engagement strategies.
