This individual supports the monthly, quarterly and yearly consolidations and capital reporting for actual, budget, and forecasting. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work will be highly visible across the division.What You Will Do:Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effectively leading a diverse team of skilled accountants responsible for monthly and quarterly financial analysis and reportingEffectively communicating financial results to division leadershipMaintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standardsDrive improvements and efficiencies in financial analysis and reporting processesCollaborate across a variety of groups at Caterpillar, including finance, accounting, commercial and business divisionsPartner across the enterprise to support key projects related to Global Finance strategy initiativesWhat You Have:Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Top Candidates Will Have:Previous people management experience​Power BI experienceAdditional Info:This position is in our Mossville, IL officeThis role is a full time position and currently requires 5 days a week in officeDomestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualifySponsorship is not availableDomestic travel up to 5%What You Will Get:Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
