Job Description
  • Analyze construction blueprints and specification criteria
  • Annotate plans to highlight distinct task areas
  • Draft scope of work documents for subcontractors
  • Execute fundamental estimating tasks, including quantity surveys, data entry, and formulation of RFIs for plan inconsistencies and scheduling concerns
  • Engage in subcontractor outreach and negotiations, conduct on-site and remote document reviews, manage bid documentation for specific trades
  • Organize, transmit, and process project-related information

The Successful Applicant
  • 1-3+ year Estimator experience with a general contractor
  • Must have bachelor's degree. Preferably in construction focus, but not required.
  • 3-5+ years of construction experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Bluebeam and PlanSwift
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment
  • Must be comfortable working with deadlines
  • Must be able to manage working on several projects at the same time
