The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for a visionary VP of Systems Engineering to join our executive team. This role is crucial in driving the development and deployment of our solutions. You'll have a unique opportunity to influence the direction and success of our cutting-edge networking products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct complex systems-related initiatives, defining strategic approaches, requirements, specifications, and designs.
• Align and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive strategies in Systems Engineering that cover Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, Cost, and Supply Chain.
• Drive system-level design specifications, analysis, and trade-offs, setting hardware and software requirements and integration tests.
• Manage and lead teams across Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Software Engineering domains.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet networking protocols, ensuring robust and efficient designs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Over 15 years of experience in hardware systems architecture and development with a focus on networking, particularly in data centers.
• A proven track record of successfully introducing innovative hardware and software solutions to the market.
• Deep understanding of modern data center architectures, particularly related to AI/ML workloads.
• Experience in direct engagements with large technology firms.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing diverse engineering teams.
• An advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
