About The Role
FEDML is seeking an experienced Senior Business Developer to spearhead our expansion and strengthen our market position. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving our sales process from end to end. This role is ideal for a dynamic and visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, particularly within the AI, Big Data, and SaaS industries.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients in the Generative AI sector, with a focus on creating high-value partnerships.
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals that align with FEDML's strategic goals.
- Lead presentations and discussions with prospective clients and internal executives, effectively communicating FEDML's value proposition.
- Design and implement business strategies, processes, and policies to support FEDML's growth and market expansion.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline management, negotiation, and sales contract preparation.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration within FEDML, ensuring alignment between business development activities and product, marketing, engineering, and legal teams.
- At least Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, with a strong track record of success in the AI, Big Data or SaaS domains.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships in the technology sector.
- Deep understanding of the AI and machine learning landscape, with technical expertise or a strong ability to learn quickly.
- Solid experience in sales, with a knack for identifying and articulating value propositions and crafting creative solutions.
- Proven background in relationship building, with a passion for establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Experience in contract negotiation and a keen understanding of the legal nuances related to business contracts.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform business decisions and strategy.
- Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, and a "do-whatever-it-takes" attitude.
