Our client is a seasoned and reputable residential real estate brokerage and a go-to for new development sales and marketing in multiple markets including Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and New Jersey. Their new development platform offers fact-based, data-driven development and adds value at every stage of the project, from acquisition to the final sale. Their services include both leasing and sales, and they are a trusted partner to many of the top developers in the NYC tri-state area. The Director of New Development Leasing will be involved in managing multiple projects across several portfolios and will be responsible for strategy, pricing, unit mix, marketing, leasing efforts, and overseeing the leasing/sales teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing and project management team to conduct pitch for new business; meet with executive leadership and ownership
  • Handle all research efforts, provide pricing for units, create stacking plans, conduct comparative market studies to support go to market strategy
  • Analyze data to establish strategy, partner with developers to present/support strategy during pre-dev stage, including advising on unit mix, layout, amenity packages, and other market differentiators
  • Oversee Marketing efforts including strategy, concept, collateral, digital, print, and signage (to be created/done by internal and external marketing agencies)
  • Continually assess performance after launch; advise sales team and re-position when necessary
  • Lead Project manager on all aspects of development
  • Oversee and mentor Leasing Managers and Project Managers to ensure most effective strategies are employed and assess areas of opportunity when necessary
  • Work with Executive Leadership on identifying new areas of business opportunity
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in New Development Leasing and/or Project Management
  • Expert knowledge in pricing, stacking plans, layout optimization
  • Experience in working with designers on new development projects
  • Expert Project Manager with strong leadership and team management
  • PM Software


Compensation: 150,000 - 175,000
