Our client, a leader in Life Sciences, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Research and Development group supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Bedford, MA Pay Range: $43/hr What's the Job? Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current products in development and their manufacturing processes. Collaborate as part of a cross-functional product development team to achieve project scope, time, and cost targets. Transfer robust products and processes from R&D to manufacturing and commercial launch. Communicate effectively with various departments including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management. Utilize statistical software for data analysis and problem-solving. What's Needed? BS in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in a related technical area. Proficient engineering skills in problem-solving, experimentation, and data analysis. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively across various teams. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge in Product Development and mechanical design, particularly with thermoplastics. What's in it for me?
