We are seeking a talented and experienced Art Director to join the Creative Services team at Guidehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual design and a passion for creating compelling and innovative visual solutions. As an Art Director, you will lead a team of designers and collaborate with various departments to develop and execute creative concepts that align with our brand and business objectives. This role is critical in shaping and communicating our brand's story, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels, and driving engagement with our target audiences. What You Will Do: Lead and inspire a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality creative output. Encourage excellence by promoting a high-performance fun environment, a strong sense of urgency, quality standards, creative exploration, innovation, and continuous learning. Ensure all visual materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms. Work closely with marketing, business development, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet business goals. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Successful track record leading a design team; able to delegate, coach, mentor and provide effective direction and feedback. Proactive in nature and driven to act with a sense of urgency. Stays up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our creative services at the forefront of design innovation. Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating creative concepts and strategies. What You Will Need: Demonstrated expertise in a broad array of areas including marketing campaign creative, digital and print sales collateral, editorial design, and apparel graphics. Bachelor/Master's degree in Graphic Design, Architectural Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a creative role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design. AfterEffects a strong plus. Proficient in MS Office Suite. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and demonstrating expertise in visual design. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. What Would Be Nice To Have: Knowledge of Accessibility standards and best practices. Familiarity with working in Figma.
