Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PICU Length: 13 Weeks Requirements: WA/Compact license 2 years min. PICU experience working independently; exp in 20 bed PICU or larger required BLS, PALS CCRN preferred Other Details: First-timers accepted Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 Locals accepted Charting: EPIC Position / Specialty: PICU RN Certs REQ: PALS; BLS; WA RN License; ACCEPTS COMPACT RTO: No RTO during first 2 weeks due to orientation. No RTO changes after initial submission Is on-call REQ?: N Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Y; clinician will complete one orientation shift in the CICU to float during their assignment Open to accommodating block schedule? N RTO Restrictions: RTO NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED ON THE INITIAL SUBMISSION OR IT WILL NOT BE APPROVED. No RTO during first 2 weeks due to orientation. Special Requirements: Travelers are scheduled for 6 weekends, not every other weekend. If assignment is longer than 13 weeks, they will work more weekends. Our scheduling weeks are Monday – Sunday. For night shift, we can schedule travelers for the night before their RTO starts. Travelers rotate on our 6-week schedule, not every six weeks based on when they started. The only shifts we can guarantee off are those that are pre-approved in contracts. Travelers' schedules are generated by the schedulers, they don’t self-schedule. No RTO during first 2 weeks due to orientation. Potential for precepting.
