SALARY RANGE:
$205,208 - 246,334 per year
WORK SCHEDULE:
40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Conduct quality assurance system testing for Nokia's service router products. Perform end-to-end testing of various features including L2, L3, and QoS features, interop testing, and evaluate the performance of the hardware. Automate scripting language for test cases, and perform stress testing and scaling of features for different software releases. Understand the product requirement as defined by the product marketing teams and develop a test plan for the new product, software feature, or hardware platform. Perform manual testing based on test plans, ensuring conformance to requirements as defined by the product marketing teams. Develop automation test scripts and integrate them into the regression infrastructure. Escalate and develop solutions to quality issues observed during the test cycle of the product. Analyze results of tests and collaborate with development engineers, architects, project managers, and test teams to investigate the root cause of features issues and develop a resolution. Work closely with hardware, software, firmware, and product marketing teams to deliver the product to the customer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: Scripting languages, including TCL or Python; Development experience in Linux environment and test automation; Data networks and Computer Networking including IP, Layer 2/3 protocols, and IP multicast; Operating Systems, including Linux/Unix and Windows; Version control systems and editors, including CVS, GIT, and VI; and Virtualization environment using KVM, containers, and dockers; and Testing routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP4) and signaling protocols (MPLS, RSVP, LDP).
