Position Overview
The Vice President of Hospitality oversees the financial performance, safety, operational excellence, and brand consistency of a portfolio of restaurants, hospitality venues, and private event spaces:
Five Boroughs Brewing Co. Taproom – Brooklyn, NY Harpoon Brewery – Boston, MA Harpoon Beer Garden – Boston, MA Harpoon Brewery Taproom and Beer Garden – Windsor, VT Long Trail Brewery Pub and Restaurant – Bridgewater, VT The Restaurant at Smuttynose – Hampton, NH Wachusett’s Brewing Company Brew Yard – Westminster, MA Wachusett’s Brewing Company Brew Yard – Worcester, MA This role is pivotal in driving innovation, fostering a positive organizational culture, and ensuring the highest standards in Food & Beverage (F&B) programming.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic oversight of General Managers and daily F&B operations across the portfolio. Lead the development and implementation of operational standards, menu guidelines, and company policies. Accountable for the Hospitality Business Unit P&L. Conduct financial analysis, recipe costing, and implement cost-effective solutions while ensuring quality and experience. Monitor property performance through systematic inspections and data analysis. Develop and execute strategic components of the annual business plan and budget. Drive branded programming and innovation in F&B concepts to exceed guest expectations and enhance revenue. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to elevate the brand and maintain consistency across all properties. Oversee recruitment, training, and career development initiatives for F&B staff. Maintain a presence at key industry events and conferences to stay informed about F&B and brewing industry trends. Requirements
Proven track record in executive-level F&B leadership, with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience. Strong background in managing multiple locations, including P&L accountability and team development. Expertise in menu innovation, market analysis, and competitive positioning. Ability to travel frequently for property visits, conferences, and strategic meetings. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Management preferred. KEY ATTRIBUTES
