Job Description Scientist, Cell Therapy responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supports cell therapy group by applying a variety of GMP analytical methodologies for cell therapy products.
Performs experiments, data processing, and presents results to internal departments and in technical reports.
Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetings.
Contributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering, organization, chemical and equipment monitoring, and maintenance.
Qualifications The ideal candidate would possess:
Experience with flow cytometry, microscopic technologies e.g. live cell imaging and high-resolution microscopy, and droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR).
Experience with cell therapy analytical methods (flow, cell counting, cell size, viability) and cell maturation is required.
Experience with problem-solving and instrument troubleshooting.
Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration.
3 - 6 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of GMP requirements.
