Job requirements Aptia is seeking an Internal Communications Lead to drive and execute an internal communications strategy, with a focus on our US business, but with some global responsibilities. This role is key to ensuring clear, engaging, and timely communication that aligns with Aptia’s mission and values, supports our change journey, and helps build a connected culture. As the US Internal Communications Lead, you will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Communications and will be responsible for developing and delivering the US internal comms plan, supporting high-impact messaging, coordinating townhalls, and managing creative content, including video production. What you’ll be doing Develop and Execute the US Internal Communications Plan: Design and implement a comprehensive communications plan tailored to Aptia’s US business, aligning with global strategies and business goals. Messaging Development: Craft clear, impactful messaging that resonates with US colleagues, reflects Aptia’s mission and values, and supports key initiatives, including change management and major program rollouts. Townhall Design and Delivery: Lead the planning, design, and execution of townhalls and other leadership communication events, ensuring content is engaging and relevant to our US teams. Manage logistics, speaker preparation, and post-event follow-ups. Video and Multimedia Content Creation: Oversee the production of video and multimedia content to enhance engagement, promote key messages, and provide updates on business initiatives, ensuring high-quality and on-brand materials. Employee Engagement Initiatives: Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to develop communications that foster a positive colleague experience. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior leaders, managers, and teams to ensure alignment, provide guidance, and gather feedback on internal communications effectiveness. Metrics and Impact Assessment: Track and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives, using data and feedback to continuously improve engagement and impact. What we’re looking for 5+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a complex, matrixed organization. Strong skills in strategic communications planning and messaging development. Proven experience in organizing and delivering large-scale colleague events, such as townhalls. Expertise in video production and multimedia content creation. Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
