Shift : Days / 8a-5:30p, 8×5, 40hrs per week
Requirements:
OR License
Minimum of 3 years current experience including 2 years working with VADs (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years cardiac clinical experience
Epic experience
AHA BLS, ACLS
Unit: 33610001 – 33610 – HC.Cardiac VAD/Device Dept – VAD Coordinator

Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) travel nurse jobs provide care to acutely ill patients who are recovering from cardiothoracic (CTICU) conditions or events, such as open-heart surgery, AAA repairs, and CABG. A CVICU travel nurse must be capable of administering care on a full spectrum, from clinical tasks such as medical history analysis and diagnostic testing, to personal care such as counseling patients and families regarding home-care and wellness. Overall, the CVICU nurse treats some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital and must do so safely and compassionately.
