Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for the supply chain. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities within the supply chain. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices for supply chain security. Evaluate and monitor the security practices of vendors and supply chain partners to ensure they meet company standards. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts that include security requirements. Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to verify adherence to security protocols. Develop and manage a robust incident response plan for supply chain security breaches or disruptions. Lead investigations and response efforts in the event of a security incident, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on incident findings. Work closely with internal departments, including procurement, logistics, IT, and legal, to ensure a cohesive approach to supply chain security. Design and deliver training programs for employees and partners on supply chain security policies and best practices. Promote a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management throughout the organization. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of supply chain security measures. Provide regular reports to senior management on the status and performance of supply chain security initiatives. Continuously evaluate and improve security processes based on performance data and industry developments. Leverage advanced technologies and tools to enhance supply chain visibility, traceability, and security. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and threats in supply chain security and implement relevant improvements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 8 years’ experience in supply chain management, with a focus on security and risk management. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and security frameworks. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and incident response planning. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams and projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
