User Experience Designer
is responsible for creating efficient and easy-to-use user interface (UI) designs and interactions for our customers to quickly and delightfully accomplish their tasks. You will collaborate with IT teams to implement the most ideal experience within project constraints. Work side by side with customers, User Experience, Product Owners, and IT teams to deliver digital experiences which exceed our customers' expectations. You will provide UX/UI support to the Digital Product and Services team and throughout the organization. An advocate for users and customers ensuring a consistent experience across digital products and web properties. You will be able to conduct discovery, wireframing, mockup, prototyping, validation, and other research and design thinking activities. What you will do: Design optimal user interactions for new and existing products and services, websites, and marketing assets collaborating with product, marketing, SMEs, stakeholders and IT. Create and deliver wireframes, interaction outlines, mockups / storyboards, and interactive prototypes to communicate the experience design to stakeholders. Deliver mockups, assets, and customer validation to IT to implement the design directly. Lead discovery sessions to discover, define, and interpret user goals/priorities and assist product owners in defining business requirements and creating user cases and stories. Assess existing products and services and identify opportunities for improved experience design. Perform other duties as assigned. When you will work: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hybrid and remote options are available in Illinois, Georgia, and Michigan. What you'll bring to the table: Your authentic self! At least 5+ years of experience designing for different devices. In lieu of the specified education and experience requirements, a proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, as demonstrated by an equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant work experience may be considered. Experience working with Developers and Product Owners to collaborate and iterate. As a User Experience Designer, you'll need to show: Experience turning problems into simple and engaging customer experiences for the web, tablet, and mobile. Expertise in developing information architecture, interaction models, customer flows, schematics, and visual design for products and services. Ability to rapidly prototype work. Demonstrated comfort with an iterative design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism. Excellent collaboration skills. Excellent attention to detail to flesh out and document concepts. Ability to work with ambiguity and desire to organize and make functionalities clear and easy to use. Versed in user-centered design methods and techniques. Ability to find creative solutions and take iterative steps in scope and design to achieve desired end state.
