Boar’s Head Brand®, the premier provider of quality delicatessen products and services is currently seeking a Human Resources Director. This position is responsible for leading and managing global HR initiatives for the corporate office. Working directly with the organization’s Executive Team with a heavy emphasis on execution, leadership and communication, this position plays a critical role in building a culture that attracts, retains and develops the people and policies that drive success in the business. The Human Resources Senior Director provides advice and counsel to managers, supervisors and employees and maintains positive relations through daily interaction with all levels of the organization. The Senior Director is responsible for the development and maintenance of all policies and procedures as well as the management and oversight of HR strategies including but not limited to: succession planning, high potential employee development, recruiting, employee grievances, compensation, benefits and compliance. Responsibilities: Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures Leads Company’s Succession Plan Oversees Organizational Development Manages compensation and benefits programs Oversees recruitment function Manages employee grievances Oversees disciplinary functions and/or terminations Other duties as assigned Travel- Must be able to travel (domestic) up to 15% Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) 10- 15 years of progressive HR experience, minimum of 5 years in a leadership role Manufacturing industry experience preferred Food Industry experience preferred Union avoidance/negotiations helpful PHR or SPHR Certification preferred Strong leadership and team building skills Must have a demonstrated ability to implement and execute new initiatives Excellent verbal and written communication skill
