Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide engineering support to production activities to meet AWPC safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. This position requires good knowledge of the rotorcraft avionic installations as well as the standard aeronautical electrical installation design procedures. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, supporting assembly and fabrication of all AWPC helicopter lines, with problem solving in fit/form/function questions and technical issues coordinating the solution within the LH design dept. Liaison Engineer is also responsible for drafting or review of electrical installations for helicopter customizations and completions, in compliance with EASA and FAA regulations. Responsibilities: Support flight line giving solution for the non-conformities to meet the aircraft delivery plans Preparation and modification of technical document (NI, CR, PP) Design Engineering liaison for manufacturing Support to EID –ITA Department for configuration feasibility Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), or equivalent Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace. Combination of education and/or experience which would permit performance of essential duties and responsibilities.
