VMWARE Engineer

Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Systems Engineer IV . Selected Candidates will work within dynamic leading-edge-technology environments enabling the 805th Combat Training Squadron/Shadow Operations Center – Nellis (ShOC-N) to conduct integration, experimentation, and assessments of emerging technologies and mission procedures to meet warfighter requirements in Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) and the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS). This is an on-site position located at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. This excellent opportunity requires that the ideal candidate to be customer focused, and willing to join a winning team. The Systems Engineer IV will be responsible for the following:Perform system engineering tasks including activities such as system planning, analysis, design, modification, conversion, and implementation as task lead, functional lead, or individual contributor. Performs highly advanced engineering activities in the design, integration and analysis of complex systems. Supports planning, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating detailed phases of projects. The Systems Engineer IV must meet the following qualifications:Must have 5 years’ experience in relevant field. Must have experience with VMWare Cloud Foundation Technologies supporting vRealize automation and SaltStack. Must have experience with programming languages (i.e., YAML, JSON, Python, etc.). Must have experience with Kubernetes (K8 orchestration). Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum. Applicable Bachelors of Science preferred. Vmware VCP highly preferred. AWS/Azure knowledge/experience highly desired. Certified Kubernetes Administrator desired.
