Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Mossville, IL Schedule: 100% onsite Pay Range: $40-$50 per hour depending on benefits and experience Mechanical design engineer working on electric motors. The individual will be working with a larger team to design/develop new motors. Exceptional candidates will have experience with CFD and FEA on drivetrain components. Typical task breakdown: Rotating hardware concepts. CAD Modeling. Interaction with team : Small team interaction. Lots of teamwork. Dependencies. Work environment : Fast paced. Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering. 3 years of experience required. 5-10 years of experience preferred. Technical Skills Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports. Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD). Soft Skills Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas. Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
