Essential Functions/ Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Always performs tasks according to Safety and Food Safety Standards. 2. Responsible for performing repairs or executing work orders to ensure compliance to SQF Food Safety Standards such as: a. Repairing plant floors as needed. b. Paint machine gear motors as needed. c. Paint walls, frames, platforms, air tanks, safety rails, support beams, exhaust fans inlets, overhead fixtures as needed. d. Repair/replace roll up doors, curtains, repair wash stations and sinks. e. Repair/replace ceiling foil, ceiling panels, light covers as needed. f. Replace all building burnout light bulbs and ballasts as needed. g. Replace any damaged machine, plexi-glass guards, or windows. h. Repair/replace exhaust screens as needed. i. Install catch pans under equipment and machinery as instructed by QA Dept. j. List not complete and subject to change. 3. Responsible for performing daily building inspections and correcting all deficiencies found. 4. Responsible for replacing all A/C and air handlers’ units air filters. 5. Responsible to wash down all refrigerant compressors. 6. Responsible for servicing all sump pumps on roof and sump tank. 7. Responsible for keeping the Maintenance Shop clean, organized, and safe. 8. Responsible for keeping the outside sheds and Boiler Room clean, organized, and safe. 9. Other facilities, utilities equipment monitoring and/or upkeep as needed. 10. Assist with production/equipment maintenance as needed. 11. Documents all work performed daily. 12. Submit purchase order request for parts. 13. Communicate with management about any work that requires outside expert assistance. 14. Perform PM/Service to the following equipment: i. Boilers ii. Air Compressors iii. Water Chiller iv. Silos v. HVAC vi. Water Heaters vii. Condensers/Coils -Freezer/Refrigeration Equipment viii. Sump Pump ix. Other
