Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes, resolve quality issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address product non-conformances and process deficiencies. Lead or support internal and external audits, including supplier quality audits. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify and address quality-related issues during product design, development, and production phases. Conduct inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including quality plans, reports, and procedures. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and recommend improvement opportunities. Train and mentor team members on quality control methodologies and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent. Proficiency in quality tools and techniques, including Six Sigma, statistical process control (SPC), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with quality management software is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent. Experience in supplier quality management and audit processes. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, or assembly. Why Join Us?
