Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead and support engineering projects in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in equipment layout, piping and utility design, and adherence to clean design standards. This role requires proficiency in engineering software, project management, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and review equipment layouts and ensure compliance with operational and construction requirements. Interpret and analyze drawings (GAD, P&ID, isometrics, vendor drawings) to define project scope. Lead mechanical and piping projects, including design reviews, resource allocation, and client discussions. Ensure adherence to International Codes & Standards (e.g., ASME B-31.3, BPE) and material specifications. Utilize 3D modeling tools (Navisworks, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, Inventor) for design and visualization. Prepare piping arrangements, isometric drawings, and equipment layouts, including nozzle orientation and vessel sketches. Provide end-to-end project management, including man-hour estimation, quality checks, and coordination with clients and departments. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience in FMCG production processes, piping, and utility design. Proficiency in engineering tools and software. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, international standards, and clean design requirements. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
