We’re looking to add two (2) Snr/Process Engineer in United State . The position is based in our office at Milpitas, California. SUMMARY: We are seeking two (2) highly skilled and experienced Snr/Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products. You will collaborate with cross-PCA through functional and box build teams, provide technical expertise, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. As a Process Engineer, you will: Create MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction) for PCA. Knowledge of PCA process and design tooling, stencil, fixtures, Jigs. Knowledge of solder alloy and SMT solder paste printing process, parameters, placement machine capabilities and will help overcome any difficulties faced by manufacturing lines. Generate temperature SMT reflow profiling and BGA rework. Generate DFM/DFT reports and FAIR (First Article Inspection reports). Responds to assembly process related manufacturing defects and develops and implements corrective actions to remedy the defects. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Reviews ECOs, processes instructions changes, BOM analysis, and communicates with internal and external customers for implementation of the same. Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology, processes, and industry best practices, and implement relevant changes to improve manufacturing processes. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and minimize downtime. Supports Quality and participates in root cause analyses, CAPA activities, inventory disposition, and other activities as needed. Some Box Build experience is preferred. What skills and experience are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, industrial engineering, or related field. A master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a PCA manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a senior or leadership position. Must have VERY STRONG knowledge of PCA manufacturing processes and SMT technology. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing manufacturing processes and SMT technology. Experience in conceptualizing automated/semi-automated design and order tooling for assembly stencil, fixtures, jigs. Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and standards Familiarity with production/cell layout development using Lean and 5S methods. Experience in conceptualizing automated/semi-automated assembly fixtures, jigs, and tooling for assembly. ISO 9001 experience is preferred.
