Interval Partners, LP - IR Associate Opportunity at a Multi-Billion-Dollar Hedge Fund Position Title: Investor Relations Associate Reports To: Senior IR & Marketing Associate We seek an organized and detail-oriented Investor Relations Associate to support the firm’s investor relations and compliance functions. In this role, you will manage investor reporting, ensure timely communication with investors, assist with day-to-day operational tasks, and oversee compliance functions. This position will have the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in investor reporting and regulatory compliance and gain in-depth knowledge of investor relations and hedge fund operations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Investor Reporting & Due Diligence: Manage the IR reporting schedule/lead sheet, ensuring timely delivery of performance estimates and other required reports as outlined by Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) Collaborate with the compliance team to complete investor due diligence questionnaires and participate in initial and ongoing operational due diligence (ODD) meetings Conduct annual investor new issue eligibility checks IMA Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure compliance with each client’s IMA by tracking key reporting deadlines, communicating required reports, and managing related documentation for IMA obligations Investor Communication & Inquiries: Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries related to reporting and compliance and monitor the IR inbox Dynamo (CRM) System Management: Master Dynamo's front-end and back-end for managing data, tracking communications, and streamlining reporting Upload capital balances and transactions, ensuring accurate records Conduct regular data integrity audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the system. Collaborate closely with the Senior IR Associate to develop Dynamo’s functionality, leading initiatives to streamline reporting processes Capital Activity Coordination: Assist in managing capital activity processes by collaborating with the Senior IR Associate, fund administrator, and investors Contribute to the preparation of reports that track capital flows across the firm and strategies Document Management & Due Diligence Support: Review fund legal documents including IMAs, PPMs, and subscription docs Update organizational charts Maintain and organize up-to-date investor files, ensuring indexing and quick retrieval of documentation Assist in drafting and updating firm due diligence questionnaires and marketing materials IR/Marketing Communication Compliance: Ensure accurate logging, tracking, and storage of all IR and marketing communications in Dynamo Regulatory Reporting & Filings: Stay up to date on financial regulations affecting investor relations, including AML, KYC, and investor protection laws Support the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance reports related to investor relations activities Ensure CIMA/FINRA filings are paid accordingly Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Compliance: Develop expertise in AML laws and conduct due diligence on investors, verifying identities and assessing risk Coordinate Investment Representation Letters, prepare AMLCO/MLRO Attestation Reports, and distribute AEOI Questionnaires (CRS/FATCA) for Board of Directors meetings Review and update AML and CRS policies, organize AML annual administrative calls and analyze Hedgeserv Red Flag Reports for potential risks Operational and Administrative Support: Provide scheduling support for IR meetings, coordinate travel logistics, and assist with general administrative tasks for the Head of Business Development & IR Prepare materials for investor meetings, assist with internal communications, support report preparation and distribution, and maintain organized files and documentation Manage and update the firm’s Soft Dollar Index / List of Brokers Skills/Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (preferred). Experience: 0-2 years in Investor Relations, Marketing, Finance, or similar roles. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiar with CRM systems. Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; able to engage effectively with investors and colleagues. Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks. Industry Interests: Eager to learn about hedge fund strategies and regulatory issues. Adaptability: Strong team player, with the ability to work independently and in-office full-time. After a period of demonstrated performance, there may be occasional flexibility to work remotely on Fridays during the summer.
