Legal Administrative Assistant – Litigation Location: San Francisco A highly regarded legal team is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Litigation practice group. This position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities: Prioritize and manage assignments while preparing sensitive and detailed correspondence. Draft and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, court appearances, forms, and presentations. Provide litigation support, including preparing witness and trial binders, coordinating deposition logistics, managing electronic filings, and handling exhibits. Oversee the billing process, including time-entry, data review, submissions, record maintenance, and addressing discrepancies. Schedule appointments, arrange travel and meetings, and maintain business calendars. Establish and maintain well-organized filing systems, including safeguarding original client documents. Prepare and file documents with various courts in hardcopy and electronic formats, ensuring compliance with filing requirements. Qualifications: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment, with a focus on litigation support. Proficiency in e-filing across court systems and familiarity with Pacer and other court-related platforms. Advanced skills in MS Word and proficiency in the MS Office Suite; ability to quickly learn new software tools (e.g., Adobe, DocuSign, and document management systems). Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and document formatting skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with strong multitasking and time management skills. Ability to transcribe legal documents from drafts, dictation, or transcription. Experience supporting multiple attorneys and managing competing priorities effectively. Salary Range: $64,000 - $115,000 per year Compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and location.
