We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Architect and Developer to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role combines advanced Salesforce architecture expertise with hands-on development responsibilities to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions, customizing the platform to meet business requirements, and ensuring alignment with best practices.ResponsibilitiesArchitecture Responsibilities:Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.Define integration strategies between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.Develop and implement Salesforce security models, including profiles, roles, and sharing settings.Create comprehensive technical design documentation, including data models, process flows, and architectural diagrams.Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions that align with strategic goals.Development Responsibilities:Customize Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other development tools.Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.Implement declarative solutions such as workflows, process builders, flows, and custom objects.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying Salesforce changes across environments.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and Salesforce best practices.Required Skills QualificationsTechnical Expertise:Experience:Minimum of 7 years of Salesforce development and architecture experience.Proven expertise in Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.Strong experience in designing integrations using tools like MuleSoft or other middleware platforms.Certifications:Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect is required.Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Developer certifications are a plus.Development Skills:Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom front-end development.Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools, such as Flows, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.Strong knowledge of data migration tools like Data Loader or third-party ETL tools.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong team collaboration and mentoring capabilities.Preferred Skills:Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Community Cloud.Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Tableau CRM, or similar BI tools.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
