Position Title: Accounting Clerk
Compensation:
Full-time, Non-Exempt (NE26) - commensurate with experience

Scope & Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk: (Not limited to)
- Receives bills of lading and Receipt of Goods and prepares invoices according to the billing schedule.
- Audits and edits invoices as necessary.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding invoices and company receivables policies and procedures.
- Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections.
- Verify, organize and e-file bills of lading and Receipt of Goods
- Provide requested information to customers and interested parties.
- Process miscellaneous invoices and corrections.
- Receives and responds to customer and employee inquiries regarding accounts receivable process and procedures or vendor inquiries for specific invoices.
- Generates various receivables reports, audits and reconciles discrepancies and problems as directed by supervisor.
- An ability to execute a work plan or program of work from a written document or verbal instruction.
- Document and maintain billing processes and procedures

Education & Experience for Accounting Clerk:
- 2 years related experience required. High School Diploma required Associates degree in business preferred.
Other Qualifications of Accounting Clerk:
- Working Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions, plus ability to communicate both oral and written instructions to others.
- Detail and process oriented
Physical & Cognitive Demands of Accounting Clerk:
- COGNITIVE DEMANDS: Meet deadlines, focus attention, work independently, independent judgments, work with a team, communicating, reading comprehension, critical thinking/troubleshooting.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: seeing, speaking, hearing, sitting, walk/climb, stand/reach, listen, writing, driving, keyboarding. Push/pull/lift/carry 35 pounds.
- Some travel.
