We are looking for an experienced Director of UX Research to shape the future of user experience across the entire Aristocrat enterprise, which spans Aristocrat Gaming, Aristocrat Interactive, and Pixel. In this influential role, reporting to the Senior Director of Consumer Insights as part of our Global Insights team, you will lead and mentor a dynamic team of UX Researchers that will drive innovation, creating world-class experiences that captivate and delight gamers across the globe. You’ll be accountable for establishing the overall strategy and execution of our UXR practice, while closely partnering with other members of the Insights team on methodologies, and capabilities and sharing Enterprise-wide insights. If you're passionate about blending creativity with data-driven insights to elevate Aristocrat’s gaming experience, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on a global scale.What You'll DoLead, mentor, and grow a team of UX Researchers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while fostering professional growth and continuous improvement Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization Implement and refine research processes and tools to enhance efficiency and impact Measure and report on the impact of UX research on product success and user satisfaction Draw on a wide range of research methodologies, frameworks, and approaches – in setting goals, developing protocols, facilitating research, analyzing data, documenting findings, and activating them through brainstorming, workshops, and presentations Partner closely with other members of the Global Insights team to align on methodologies, insights, and best practices that benefit the Aristocrat Enterprise Communicate fluidly and effectively with senior executives and product team stakeholders – to appropriately inspire, influence, and serve multiple audiences What We're Looking ForYou have 10+ years of related experience and a portfolio showing UX Research process and its impact on the product/user experience Experience in the video/pc/mobile gaming industry would be great, and bonus points if you’ve worked in the Casino gaming industry You have an Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field. 5+ years experience managing a team of UX Researchers and multiple projects simultaneously with an exceptional track record of building and empowering your team to help them grow and succeed Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with market research/consumer insights, as well as senior leaders and stakeholders in different departments (design, product, etc) You not only solve problems given to you, but you strategically solve problems that may be unseen by others You work beyond the template of classic UX research deliverables to create what is necessary and useful to any given project You know how to create and share compelling stories, tying research insights to design initiatives both verbally and visually A strategic and nimble thinker who can rapidly ideate and assist with contributing to business growth. Stay current with industry trends, research methodologies, tools, and best practices Experienced with Figma, Miro, and other digital visualization or collaboration tools.
