Role Description

We are looking for a strategic-thinking and execution-oriented Value Engineer to drive value for our top Success Plan customers. This role will be a key player in creating value for our Success Plan opportunities across all industries and clouds. An ideal candidate has a strong background in Customer Success strategies, strategy setting, and quantitative skills. The candidate is able to research, synthesize, and develop insights and actions using a data-driven approach from market intelligence & customer feedback. A self-starter who focuses on customer centricity, teamwork, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a get-it-done demeanor is needed to succeed in this role.

Your Impact

  • Act as a trusted value consultant to our sales and delivery teams

  • Partner with Success Plan sales executives to drive new and incremental revenue opportunities

  • Develop & deliver a business value point of view to demonstrate how Success Plans help our customers’ maximize their investments in Salesforce with specificity around our Salesforce products and industries

  • Model the business impact of Success Plans specific to customer use case and industry to generate a compelling business case and ROI

  • Manage and track success metrics to drive new opportunities and addressable markets for our Signature and Premier Success Plans

  • Drive Business Value Tracking capabilities in support of post-sale and customer enablement activities (in partnership with Account Success)

  • Potential to travel up to 20%

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Strategy, Customer Success Product or Sales (consulting sales, technical sales or support sales) required.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the values and behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

  • Experience working with customers, customer-facing teams, and product organizations, with the ability to lead without direct authority

  • Transformational and strategic problem solver: Experience defining value through data-driven approaches

  • Strong relationship-building skills with a proven track record of growing and cultivating relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Outstanding presentation skills are required including the ability to adapt style based on the audience and present complex ideas.

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce products (Sales & Service, Marketing Cloud, Commerce, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, Agentforce, etc.)

  • Mix of business and technical acumen with ability to engage and add value in discussions involving both technology and business strategy

  • Experience in account strategy support, and development and execution of value hypotheses, business cases, and commercial proposals

Note: This role is office-flexible, and the expectation is to be in-office minimum 3 days per week.
