Responsibilities
The Facilities Accreditation Coordinator-Engineering is responsible for coordinating and leading activities that maintains the hospitals continuous state of regulatory/CMS/DNV standards compliance. This position reports to Facilities Engineering Department. The coordinator provides guidance, interpretation and leadership to the staff on standards compliance, and tracks hospital survey readiness. This position is responsible for tracking, reviewing, and filing all documentation related to physical accreditation standards, and coordinates with vendors to initiate repairs. This role coordinates and monitors action plans based on survey findings, and report data. The coordinator works with local government utility vendors, coordinates repairs, and submits data on behalf of their facility. Utility vendors may include: LG&E, Metro Government, Louisville Water Company, MSD, etc.)

Qualifications
Required:
- Five (5) years' experience with DNV/Joint Commission/or other accrediting bodies/accreditation standards and survey readiness
- One year experience working in a healthcare environment
- Associate Degree
- Any accredited certification
