Survey Assistant 3 full-time, temporary, one-time occurrence (H-2B) jobs available 11/25/2024 - 8/22/2025 Employer: National Union of Non-Profit Dominican Republic Inc., 2070 Grand Concourse Suite 1 Bronx, NY 10457. Duties: Contract workers will be responsible for conducting surveys in the Hispanic community of new immigrants in New York State. Duties include conducting interviews to collect social and demographic data from members of the Hispanic community who have arrived in New York State from January 1, 2016 to August 22, 2025, especially women in vulnerable conditions. Recording data from interviews and preparing research reports. Higher education is not required for this position, but a minimum of 12 months of work experience in similar roles and 6 months of training in non-profit organizations are required. Activities will be carried out in New York State, at the offices of the National Union of Non-Profit Dominican Republic Inc., at 2070 Grand Concourse, Suite 1, Bronx, NY 10457 Work Hours and days vary: $40.54 - $45.00/per hour. 40 hours per week. 9:00AM to 5:00PM, NO OT. High School / GED required. 1 year experience required. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
