Overview The Psychologist I will provide psychological treatment services and/or psychodiagnostic assessments for outpatient clients at the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI). The incumbent will also provide training to parents, paraprofessionals, and professionals. Primary clinical responsibilities will be for patients aged 2 through young adult. Responsibilities Provide direct fee-for-service services in the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI) clinic, including treatment in individual sessions, consultations, dyads, and groups with children and/or their families, and psychodiagnostic assessment (behavioral assessment and psychological testing). Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings as needed to discuss and evaluate the diagnoses and treatment/management of patients, and to formulate rehabilitation plans. Provide interpretative information to parents and/or primary caregivers (including teachers and therapists). Provide short-term counseling to parents for effecting changes in child management as needed. Initiate and participate in innovative programs and research projects. Assist CASSI psychology supervisors in the development of research initiatives. Design and conduct presentations nationally, regionally, and locally. Assist in the preparation of grant proposals for submission. Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for submission for publication. Enter reports and patient correspondence into Epic, including entering test data into the department database. Maintain productivity and reporting standards as determined by the department. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: • Must possess and maintain licensure as a psychologist in Maryland. • Must obtain and maintain psychology privileges as a specified professional member of the Kennedy Krieger Institute Medical Staff. EDUCATION: • Doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA)- or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)-accredited doctoral program required. • Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral internship in health service psychology required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities required. This experience may be satisfied through predoctoral and/or postdoctoral training in psychology. Minimum pay range: USD $70,510.75/Yr. Maximum pay range: USD $125,799.86/Yr. #J-18808-Ljbffr
