Our client is in the Construction/Professional Services sector located in the Greater Boston Area. The position is 5 days a week in the office.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals.
Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and opportunities for growth.
Oversee the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business models.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and proactively manage variances.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Identify financial risks and implement effective controls to mitigate them.
Oversee insurance, bonding, and legal compliance related to construction projects and company operations.
Manage the finance and accounting team, fostering professional development and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with project managers to analyze job costing, profitability, and cash flow management.
Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and funding strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with banks, bonding companies, and other financial stakeholders.
Partner with the leadership team on key business initiatives, client expansion, and diversification of services.
Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and tools to enhance decision-making and reporting accuracy.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Degree
CPA/Master's Degree Preferred
15 - 20+ years of Construction Accounting Tenure Essential
10+ years in a Top Finance Leader Position
Strong communication and collaboration skills with Executive and Operational Leadership
Systems: Sage300/Timberline, Procore or similar Construction Softwares
