Role Summary

Avahi is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing initiatives as we continue to grow in the cloud consulting and SaaS industry. As a team of one supported by external 3rd-party resources, you’ll have a unique opportunity to build Avahi’s marketing strategy from the ground up, driving brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for a marketing leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience in SaaS or consulting firms.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Avahi’s growth objectives.
  2. Define and prioritize marketing initiatives, focusing on demand generation, content marketing, and digital campaigns.
  3. Partner with leadership to refine Avahi’s brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

Demand Generation & Campaigns

  1. Create and manage multi-channel campaigns to generate leads, nurture prospects, and drive customer acquisition.
  2. Oversee performance marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  3. Work with external agencies or contractors to execute targeted campaigns effectively.

Content Development

  1. Develop high-impact content, including case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and thought leadership pieces tailored to SaaS and consulting audiences.
  2. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create industry-relevant content that highlights Avahi’s expertise.

Analytics & Reporting

  1. Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  2. Build and maintain dashboards to report on key marketing metrics to leadership.

Partnerships & Collaboration

  1. Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and enablement.
  2. Manage relationships with 3rd-party marketing agencies or contractors, ensuring alignment with Avahi’s objectives.

Scaling Marketing Operations

  1. Identify and implement tools or platforms to streamline marketing processes.
  2. Build a roadmap for scaling the marketing function, including hiring and team development as the company grows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proven experience (5+ years) in a marketing leadership role within a SaaS or consulting firm environment.
  2. Hands-on experience developing, executing and showing proven results via demand generation campaigns.
  3. Strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.
  4. Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
  5. Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance.
  6. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  7. Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and SaaS sales cycles.
  8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and external resources.
  10. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
