Join a dynamic and innovative restaurant group as the Executive Chef for our newest concept, a high-end steakhouse set to open in late 2024 in Raleigh, NC. We are looking for a talented and passionate leader with a minimum of three years of recent experience as an Executive Chef in fine dining, chef-driven concepts. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culinary vision and create a destination dining experience in the heart of Raleigh.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the kitchen team in executing a high-quality, innovative menu.
- Develop and curate a steakhouse menu that highlights both classic and contemporary steakhouse offerings.
- Source local and sustainable ingredients to craft exceptional dishes.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house management team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, scheduling, and labor costs.
- Mentor and train kitchen staff to uphold the restaurant's standards and foster a positive kitchen culture.
- Drive creativity and culinary excellence, bringing fresh ideas to the table regularly.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of three years of recent Executive Chef experience in fine dining, chef-driven concepts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Steakhouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and fine dining standards.
- Proven track record of managing a kitchen with high standards for food quality and consistency.
- Ability to create and execute innovative and seasonal menus.
