Ultrasound Technologist (Palmer)

Imaging Associates is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for our Anchorage, Palmer, and Eagle River, Alaska locations.

At Imaging Associates you'll find a team of friendly and experienced sonographers leveraging the latest GE ultrasound technology for unsurpassed diagnostic accuracy. All of our locations are ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence!

Studies performed at Imaging Associates include General, OB/GYN, Small Parts, and Breast. We are also a comprehensive vascular lab.

Work closely with our breast imaging team who leverage 3D mammography (Breast Tomography), breast MRI, ultrasound, and breast biopsy.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
• Providing sonograms and oral or written summaries of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis
• Operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of motion, shape and composition of blood, organs, tissues, or masses such as fluid accumulations
• Maintaining records that include patient information, sonographs, and interpretations, files of correspondence, and other related documents/reports.

**Upon review of performance, sign on bonus of $7,500 gross shall be paid after one year of employment with Imaging Associates.**

Job Requirement

• ARDMS Registered, RVT and Breast preferred, or the ability to become registered within 6 months of hire
• Current BLS
• 1+ years of experience, post education, required. 3 years experience preferred.
