Job Description: Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Boise, ID Position : Cardiothoracic Surgeon Location : Boise, ID Shifts : 7am-7am (24-hour on-call shifts, weekend coverage required) On Call Requirements : Yes, daily call and occasional PTO coverage Number of Positions : 1 Rate : On-call : $2,750 per 24-hour shift (includes 3 hours gratis) Call back : $310/hour after gratis hours Key Responsibilities : Cover occasional weekend on-call and PTO for the Cardiothoracic Surgery team. Perform adult cardiac and general thoracic surgeries, including: Aortic dissection, CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) Tube thoracostomy, Pericardial window, Thoracotomy lung resections and pneumonectomy Heart valve repair/replacement surgery, Dissection, VA + VV ECMO placement. 4 rotating Physician Assistants . Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric. Use

for Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Requirements : ACGME or AOA Accredited Residency and Cardiothoracic Fellowship Board Certified

in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Idaho State License

IMLC ACLS

and

DEA

Certification Clean background with no malpractice history Facility Information : EMR : Epic Operating Room : 1 dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery OR Support : 4 Physician Assistants rotate to assist in the OR Patient Demographic : Adult and Geriatric patients requiring advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures
