Position Overview: Drive new client acquisition and expand transportation services for drayage, hazardous materials, flatbed, heavy haul, warehouse, hotshot, and dry van logistics. Focus on proactive prospecting, lead generation, sales presentations, pipeline management, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire new customers and grow existing accounts across targeted verticals.
Prospect through cold calling, networking, and in-person visits to generate leads.
Deliver tailored sales presentations and conduct 15+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
Manage a sales pipeline in Salesforce, prioritizing high-value opportunities.
Meet sales targets through effective time management and client engagement.
Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
Negotiate deals, close sales, and maintain accurate CRM records.
Travel to client sites and represent the company at industry events.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience with a focus on transportation and logistics.
Strong communication, negotiation, and CRM skills (Salesforce preferred).
Ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel as needed.
