PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Grand Prairie, TX. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
Missiles & Fire Control is seeking a qualified Software Engineer to work in the Grand Prairie, TX office. This position is for developing embedded real-time software on Client-3 products. The software is being developed using the C++ computer language; therefore, knowledge of C++ 11 or higher is required. Previous products were developed using Ada; familiarity with Ada is a plus. Experience developing software architecture is a plus. Experience developing for Linux (CentOS) and Real-Time Operating Systems (VxWorks) targets is a plus. Knowledge of continuous integration and building/maintaining a software factory is highly desirable. The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing. The candidate must already have an active SECRET security clearance.

High School Diploma or equivalent US Citizenship C++ (11 or higher) Linux Real-time embedded software development Active secret clearance required to start Desired:
Ada VxWorks Linux CentOS Software Architecture Development experience Knowledge of continuous integration and building/maintaining a software factory Bachelor's Degree
