In this position, you will have direct training with a variety of instrumentation including digital PCR platforms, mass spec, NGS, as well as other functions in the company.
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Primary Job Duties
Process daily sample load, extracting nucleic acids and setting up PCR reactions Quantify viral RNA using digital PCR / RT-PCR instruments Maintain quality control batch records, and good documentation under ISO 13485 practices Track production data, QC data, and inventory accurately Identify issues occurred in testing labs and escalate issues to supervisor's attention Be able to rotate into other production and NGS testing positions and learn new skills
Job Requirements B.S. degree or higher, in one of the following disciplines - Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent Basic understanding of PCR or DNA sequencing/NGS and processes Ability to learn sample preparation and testing on mass spec instrumentation Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision Good documentation skills and ability to write procedures and reports Having a sense of urgency and attention to details Having a level of flexibility and a willingness to make an impact
Desired: Relevant experience in GMP, 5S, lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 environment and tools - ERP, LIMS, Quality Management System, etc. 2+ years of relevant GMP, GLP, or QC of Life Science products
Wage Notice: $45,000 - $60,000. The base salary offered may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
