Job Goal:
To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.
Performance Responsibilities:
Builds positive relationships with parents, students, administration, faculty, staff, and community members Oversees office equipment and maintenance Adheres to school and district policies and procedures Sets a positive culture among office staff and faculty Maintains faculty/staff listing and files Creates routines to facilitate an efficient positive working environment Facilitates/supports principal's school plans and events Submits school work orders, as requested Orders supplies and dispenses as directed Assists principal with filing professional leave opportunities Maintains and facilitates the filing of teacher leave and substitutes Maintains a daily teacher attendance log and the concomitant records for substitute teachers Trains as needed to enhance professional skills Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a productive and effective office Maintains student records as shall be required Receives and routes all incoming calls Assists teachers in preparing instructional materials as requested Performs other duties as assigned
